Advanced Placement

AP is a rigorous academic program built on the commitment, passion and hard work of students and educators. Last year, sixteen AP courses were offered here at Bluffton High School. 237 students took a total of 394 exams. 55.3% of these exams resulted in scores of 3 or higher.  Success on an AP exam is defined as an exam score of 3 or higher, which represents the score point that research finds predictive of college success and college graduation. 
     More than 90% of four-year colleges and universities in the United States grant students credit, placement or both on the basis of successful AP exam scores.
